12 Inch Girls Bike with Basket, Streamers and Training Wheels, Mermaid Theme, Pink
A mermaid printed chain guard, ribbon streamers off the grips and a woven basket with a bow, on a frame the maker rates for riders 31.5 to 41.3 inches tall. The 12 inch takes an inseam of 15.5 to 17.5 inches, a saddle of 17.5 to 19.5 inches and a 110 lb weight capacity.
Pink and mermaids
A pink frame with a mermaid print on the chain guard, a woven basket with a white bow on the bars and pink and blue ribbon streamers off each grip.
Five sizes, one table
The 12 inch column: ages 3 to 4, riders 31.5 to 41.3 inches tall, an inseam of 15.5 to 17.5 inches, a saddle of 17.5 to 19.5 inches and a 110 lb weight capacity.
Two brakes
An easy grip hand brake the maker says has a shorter working distance for little hands, and a coaster brake that stops the bike on a back pedal. The chain guard is closed to keep clothes out.

Who is this perfect for?
Three year olds with a 15.5 to 17.5 in inseam
The maker's own band for this size.
Children who want the decoration
Streamers, a bow basket and mermaid graphics are most of the appeal at this age.
Paths and driveways
Lawn, asphalt, brick and wood plank are the four surfaces the maker pictures.
What we stand behind
- The age band, rider height, inseam, saddle height, handlebar height and 110 lb weight capacity are the manufacturer's own published figures.
- The manufacturer states compliance with ASTM and CPSIA. That is their statement, repeated as such, with no certificate number.
- No helmet is included. A helmet belongs on every ride, and eight Canadian provinces have helmet legislation, three of them for riders under 18.
- This is a bike for supervised riding on paths, driveways and parks, never on a road.
- The saddle does not drop as low as the inseam band, so a child at the bottom of the band will be on tiptoes at a stop.
- Ships from our Canadian or United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
Will both feet reach the ground?
Not flat, at the bottom of the band. The saddle floor is 17.5 inches while the inseam band starts at 15.5 inches, so a smaller child will be on tiptoes. Sizing guides suggest a first pedaller is steadiest with the saddle at about inseam height.
What weight does it take?
110 lb at this size, which the maker calls the weight capacity.
Do the streamers and basket come off?
The basket is a woven front basket fitted to the bars. The streamers are ribbons pushed into the grip ends and pull out easily.
Is it certified?
The manufacturer states compliance with ASTM and CPSIA. We repeat that as their statement and quote no certificate number.
