14 Inch Girls Bike with Basket, Ribbons and Mudguards, Mermaid Theme, Rose Red
The maker's own advice on this listing is plain: go by rider height rather than age, and compare the inseam with the saddle height. For this 14 inch that means riders 37.4 to 43.3 inches tall, an inseam of 17.5 to 19.5 inches and a saddle of 20 to 21.5 inches.
Sizing a bike from a screen
Age bands hide a four inch difference
Children of the same age can be four inches apart in leg length, so an age band on a listing tells you very little about whether a bike will fit.
The maker says to measure, and prints the numbers
This listing carries rider height, inseam and saddle height for every size, and its own panel tells you to consider height over age. Measure once and the choice is made.
The bike
Deep rose with mermaid graphics along the chain guard, a spotted white basket, ribbons at each grip and mudguards over both wheels.
How the maker says to size it
Consider rider height more than age, and measure the inseam against the saddle height. The 14 inch row gives riders 37.4 to 43.3 inches tall and an inseam of 17.5 to 19.5 inches.
What moves
Both the bars and the saddle adjust, and the training wheels detach at the rear axle when the rider no longer needs them.

What we stand behind
- The age band, rider height, inseam, saddle height, handlebar height, overall dimensions and 110 lb weight capacity are the manufacturer's own published figures.
- The maker shows an ASTM mark on its own dimensions panel. That is their claim, repeated as such, with no certificate number.
- No helmet is included. A helmet belongs on every ride, and eight Canadian provinces have helmet legislation, three of them for riders under 18.
- This is a bike for supervised riding on paths, driveways and parks, never on a road.
- Ships from our Canadian or United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
