A small white S shape, 24 inches square and 8 inches deep, that works as a shelf or a side table.
Two open compartments and a flat top, folded into an S. Small enough for a sofa side, square enough to tuck under a desk. The top board takes 44 lbs.
Side table height
At 24 inches it lands level with most sofa arms, so a lamp and a mug stay in reach and the books live underneath.
Eight inches under a desk
Depth is 8 inches, which slides under a desk without hitting your knees. Binders stand up in the upper opening and the lower one takes the rest.
