44 Inch Solid Pear Wood Cat Tree with 21 Inch Top Perch and Natural Jute Posts, White
The top perch measures 21 by 17 inches with a 3.5 inch rim, which is big enough for a large cat to sprawl rather than balance. It sits on real pear wood trunks, each with its own grain, over a 23.5 by 19.5 inch base.
Bare pear wood trunks with visible knots, carrying thick white long pile platforms and a deep top perch.
A perch a big cat fits on
21 by 17 inches with a 3.5 inch rim, which is larger than most towers put at the top. Below it, two 15.5 inch platforms at 25.5 and 16.5 inches give a big cat somewhere to pause on the way up.
How thick the pile is
800 grams per square metre of long plush. That is a published figure rather than an adjective, and it is the reason the perch reads as a bed with sides instead of a board with a cover stapled over it.
No two trunks alike
Each trunk is a real piece of pear wood, so the knots and the grain differ between units. The maker describes the wood as resistant to deformation, which on an upright carrying a 21 inch perch is the property that matters.

Who is this perfect for?
Large breeds
A Maine Coon or a Ragdoll needs a perch it can lie across, not one it has to fold onto. 21 by 17 inches with a rim is a genuine bed at height.
Long haired cats
Deep 800 gsm pile suits a cat that kneads before it settles. It brushes out with a vacuum and a lint roller rather than needing a wash.
Rooms where wood matters
Bare trunks with their knots showing, against white pile. It behaves like a sculpture in the corner instead of a carpeted box.
Frequently asked questions
How big is the top perch?
21 by 17 inches, with a raised edge 3.5 inches high.
How tall is the tree?
44 inches, on a base 23.5 by 19.5 inches.
What wood is it?
Natural pear wood, and each trunk has its own grain, so no two trees look identical.
Jute or sisal?
Jute rope on the supporting posts. Jute is softer than sisal rope and wears faster under a heavy scratcher.
How thick is the fabric?
800 grams per square metre of long plush, as the manufacturer publishes it.
What weight will it take?
No weight capacity is published for this model, so we do not state one.
