48 Inch Mushroom Cat Tree with a Top Condo and Three Spotted Platforms
An orange toadstool cap hides the condo at 48 inches, with a red cap at 28.5 and a blue one at 14 below it. Six layers on a round base 23 inches across, published at 22 lbs a layer.
Three toadstool caps in orange, red and blue on cream sisal stems, rising from a brown base disc.
Three caps, three heights
The condo under the orange cap is 16 inches square with a 7.5 by 8 inch doorway at the top, the red platform is 14 across at 28.5 inches and the blue one 14 across at 14. Forty eight inches over a base 23 across, and the maker publishes 22 lbs for each layer.
Six layers, counted
The maker counts six layers on this frame, which includes the base board and the platform roofs. In practice a cat gets a condo, two padded caps and the tops of the stems between them, spread so that no step needs a serious jump.
Stems of 3.8 and 3.4 inches
The two supporting stems measure 3.8 and 3.4 inches across and are wrapped in sisal over their full length. Nearly four inches is thick enough for a cat to pull against without the column flexing, which is what keeps a cat coming back to it.

Who is this perfect for?
Cats that hide high
Putting the condo at the top rather than the bottom suits a cat that wants height and cover at the same time, which is most cats in a busy house.
Colourful rooms
Three spotted caps in orange, red and blue. It is a decorative object first and it makes no attempt to blend into a neutral scheme.
Smaller cats
A 7.5 by 8 inch doorway and 22 lbs a layer suit an average or small cat rather than a large breed.
