The board is the top

Four quarters of studded board in yellow, white, grey and teal, sized for small particle bricks. It is the table surface, so building does not require clearing anything else away first. The manufacturer rates the table to 220 lb, which means leaning on it mid build is fine.

It tilts into an easel

The panel lifts at the back to stand at a drawing angle, with a long pencil box built into the lip to stop the markers rolling off. For a child who draws standing up, an angled surface is a different experience from a flat one, and it is the same surface they just built on.

The top is 23 by 17 inches, standing 22 inches high on a base that covers 25 by 18.5 inches. The storage well beneath runs 6 inches deep. The chair is 22 inches tall on a 13 by 13 inch footprint, and both the table and the chair are rated to 220 lb.

It closes like a case

Fold the top down and the handle on the front turns the whole table into something a child can carry. The manufacturer calls it a suitcase, and the point is that the blocks, pens and paper stay inside while it moves between rooms or into the car.
