Why are there six seat cushions for five pieces?

The loveseat takes two seat cushions, each armchair one, and each ottoman one. That is six, plus four back cushions across the loveseat and the two chairs.

Are the ottomans strong enough to sit on?

The maker rates each at 360 lb, the same as an armchair, so they work as extra seating when people turn up.

Can I take the cushions off the ottomans?

How should the covers be cleaned?
