51 Inch Avocado Cat Tree with a Rotatable Basket and Round Base
Green and cream throughout, with one perch cut in the shape of a halved avocado and a stone coloured cushion sitting in the middle of it where the pit would be.
Moss green and butter yellow plush on pale jute columns, with an avocado shaped perch, a swinging basket, two wide platforms and everything standing on one round disc.
Round all the way down
The base is a single disc 23.5 inches across and the tree reaches 51 inches. The top perch is 18.5 by 13 inches, the avocado perch 13 inches wide, the second level sits at 28.5 and the wide platform of 14 by 11.5 inches at 15.5. Because the base is circular, the tree can be approached from any side and nothing sticks out into a walkway at a corner.
Jute rather than sisal
The posts are wrapped in jute, which is softer under the paw than sisal and sheds less as it wears. It is the usual trade: jute gives a gentler surface and sisal lasts longer under a heavy scratcher. Alongside the posts there are spring mounted toys shaped like small avocados, which bend and snap back rather than swinging on a cord.
Two cushions that lift out
Both round cushions are sponge filled and detachable. On a tree where the two largest surfaces are open platforms rather than boxes, the cushions are doing all the comfort work, so being able to pull them out and wash them is what keeps the tree usable past the first year.
The basket turns to face the room
The hanging basket rotates on its mount, so its opening can be pointed at a window, at the sofa, or away from both. Every other level on the tree is fixed once it is built. The basket is the one piece you can aim after the fact, which is worth more than it sounds when you find out where the cat actually wants to look.

Who is this perfect for?
Open plan rooms
A round base has no corners to catch a shin and can be walked around, which suits a tree standing away from a wall.
Cats with sensitive paws
Jute is a softer fibre than sisal, which some cats prefer and which sheds less onto the floor around the post.
Bright, playful interiors
Moss green and butter yellow with an avocado perch. This is a theme carried all the way through rather than a hint of one.
Households that rearrange
The basket rotates, so the tree can be turned to a new view without rebuilding anything.
