52 Inch Christmas Cat Tree with a Gift Box Condo, Hammock and Turning Basket
Five places to settle over 52 inches: a 13.5 inch top perch, a wide platform, a basket that swivels off one side, a gift wrapped condo and a red hammock slung near the floor.
Cats that shred the carpet
What usually goes wrong
A cat that scratches horizontally will walk past an upright post for years. Every tower in the shop offers posts, so the owner buys one, the carpet keeps getting worse and the post stays clean.
How this one answers it
This frame carries a flat board cut as a fir tree and faced in sisal, sitting at floor level beside the base. It is a horizontal surface in the place the cat is already working.
Sage green plush with cream sisal columns, a gift wrapped condo with a red lid and a small fir standing on one platform.
Where the five places sit
A 13.5 inch perch at 52 inches, a platform of 21.5 by 19.5 at 38, a 12 inch basket at 27.5, a condo 13.5 by 12 with an 8.5 by 8 inch door at 29 and a hammock 13 by 12 at 15.5. Five spots spread over five heights, on a base of 23.5 by 19.5.
Five shapes, not five shelves
A rimmed perch, a wide flat platform, a swivelling basket, an enclosed condo and a slung hammock. Every one of those asks something different of a cat, which is what keeps a tree in use rather than leaving one favourite spot and four ignored boards.
A fir on the floor
Besides the wrapped posts there is a flat board cut as a Christmas tree, faced in sisal, resting near floor level. Cats that scratch horizontally will not touch an upright post, and a flat panel is the only thing that redirects them off the carpet.
The strap and the leap
An anti tipping device is supplied, and the maker illustrates exactly the case it covers: a cat arriving from the sofa rather than climbing up. That sideways load is the one a base cannot absorb, and fitting the strap is five minutes of the assembly.

Who is this perfect for?
Cats that work the carpet
The fir board is flat and at floor level, which is where a horizontal scratcher is actually doing its damage.
Two cat households
Five places at five heights means two cats can be on the tree at once without either having to give up the spot it wanted.
Households that decorate
A wrapped present, a small fir and a red hammock. Festive without being so loud that it has to come down in January.
