Six feet, three and a half across

6 FT of height against a 3.4 FT spread on an 18 inch stand. That is a full profile rather than a slim one, so a floor circle of four feet covers it. Two pairs of gloves come in the box.

617 tips, in pink

The counts and the colour are called out together. The close up shows a soft blossom pink rather than a hot one, which is what makes it usable in a living room rather than only at a party.

Sections, hinges and pads

The tree stacks in sections with hinged branches that open as each part is raised, and the stand folds flat. The foot pads matter on a wood floor: a metal stand under a full profile tree will mark it otherwise.

A soft pink described by the manufacturer as a lovely pink design.

Enough to fill a 3.4 ft spread at six feet.

Branches fall into place automatically as the tree is built.

An 18 inch stand with protective foot pads.

No fitted string, so the bulb colour is yours to pick.

Included for shaping the branches during setup.

A pink tree belongs in the room somebody chose the colours for.

It photographs well and is not what the shop next door has.

Warm white keeps the pink soft; cool white cools it towards mauve.

What we stand behind

• Ornaments and gifts in the photography are not included. This tree has no lights.
• Height, spread, stand size and the 617 tip count are read off the manufacturer's own graphics for this listing.
• The store title and description do not mention the colour of this tree, and the description gives a different branch tip figure. The colour and count printed on this product's own graphics are used here.
• Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
• 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.

Is the tree pink? The title does not say.

It is pink. Every photograph shows pink foliage and the manufacturer's own graphic calls it a lovely pink design. The store title omits the colour, which is why ours states it.

How many branch tips does it have?

617, printed on the manufacturer's own feature graphic for this listing. The store description carries a different figure, which appears to belong to another tree in the same range, so we have used the one on the product's own image.

What lights should I use on it?

Warm white keeps the pink warm and soft, cool white pushes it towards mauve. Health Canada advises a CSA, cUL or cETL mark on whatever string you buy.

How much floor does it need?

3.4 ft across at the widest branches on an 18 inch stand, so a floor circle of about four feet.
