9 Piece Patio Rattan Dining Set, 79 in Slatted Acacia Table and 8 Armchairs with X Side Panels and Acacia Armrests

The side panels on these chairs are woven into an open X rather than filled solid, which shows the frame instead of hiding it. Acacia wood tops the armrests. Around them sits a 79 inch table with a slatted acacia top, a 1.9 inch umbrella hole and a 165 lb rating.

Eight chairs, one deck, one afternoon of assembly

Chairs that rock on old paving

Set eight dining chairs on a patio that has settled over twenty years and at least two of them will rock. Every time somebody leans on the table their chair knocks, and a shim under a leg lasts about a week.

Adjustable pads on the front legs

Each chair has adjustable footpads on its front legs, so the ones that rock can be levelled where they stand. The table has 360 degree adjustable pads at its corners for the same reason.

The open X side is the most structural looking of the three versions here, and it is the one that shows what the chair is actually built on.

Nine pieces, counted

One 79 in table with a slatted acacia top on a metal frame and eight armchairs. The sides of these chairs are woven into an open X rather than filled in, with acacia wood along the top of each armrest.

The X, close up

The panel shows what the open side is: a genuine X shaped metal frame with the rattan woven around it, not a decorative pattern laid over a solid panel. Alongside are the adjustable front footpads and the acacia armrest tops.

Every figure

Table 79 in by 35.5 in and 29.5 in high at 165 lb. Chairs 24.5 in deep, 22 in wide and 35 in tall, seat 16 in from the ground, rated 400 lb each. Nine pieces, 144 lb in total.

How the table is built

The 1.4 in acacia slats with gaps between them stop water standing on the top. Extra metal crossbars underneath stiffen a 79 in span, and 360 degree adjustable foot pads take up the difference on uneven paving.

Nine pieces and what they do

A 79 inch table

Six and a half feet of slatted acacia on a metal frame, rated 165 lb. Eight people eat at it without anyone at a corner.

Six chairs tuck under

Six of the eight push right in against the table, which is how a set this size stops filling the whole deck when nobody is using it.

400 lb per chair

Each armchair carries a 400 lb badge on the maker's dimension image, over a sturdy X shaped metal frame with extra crossbars.

Slats that drain

The acacia top is built from 1.4 in slats with gaps between them, so rain runs through instead of pooling on the surface.

1.9 in umbrella hole

Cut through the middle of the table to take a standard pole. The umbrella itself is not included.

Adjustable front footpads

The front legs of each chair adjust, so a chair that rocks on old flagstone can be brought level without a shim.

Zipped cushion covers

Each 2 in seat cushion has a cover that unzips and comes off for washing rather than being scrubbed where it sits.

144 lb in total

Nine pieces at 144 lb together, which is light for a set this size and makes the end of season move realistic.

Who is this perfect for?

Households that seat eight

Eight matching armchairs with cushions and armrests, around a 79 in table. Nobody eats from a folding chair.

Decks that need clearing

Six of the eight chairs push right under the table, so the set stops taking the whole deck when it is not in use.

Anyone adding shade later

A 1.9 in hole through the middle of the top takes a standard umbrella pole whenever you get round to buying one.

What we stand behind

  • Every dimension, the 165 lb table rating and the 400 lb chair rating come from the record's own specification list and the manufacturer's Product Size image.
  • The tabletop is slatted acacia on a metal frame. The 1.4 in slat width and the drainage gaps are shown in the maker's own detail panel.
  • The umbrella hole is 1.9 in. No umbrella is included and the manufacturer says so.
  • The maker's own note is to keep the cushions dry and to avoid prolonged rain exposure. We print it rather than bury it.
  • No UV rating and no foam density are published, so neither is claimed.
  • Ships from our United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
  • 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.

Frequently asked questions

How much deck does a 79 inch table need?

Layout guides ask for about 3 ft of clear floor on every side of a dining table so chairs can pull back and people can walk behind them. On a 79 in by 35.5 in top that comes to roughly 13 ft by 9 ft of usable surface.

What is the X on the side of the chair?

A structural X shaped metal frame with the rattan woven around it, shown in the manufacturer's own detail panel. It is the same frame carrying the 400 lb rating on all three versions in this range, just left visible on this one.

Does the acacia top need treating?

Not urgently. Left alone it weathers to a silver grey without losing strength. Acacia care guidance suggests re-oiling a few times a season if you want to hold the original colour, and keeping it covered or sheltered through a wet freezing winter.

Can it be left out in the rain?

The manufacturer's own note for this range is to avoid prolonged rain exposure and to keep the cushions dry. The slatted top drains well and the rattan does not absorb water the way natural cane does, but the cushions are the part to take care of.
