Two sections make this up, and they are not fixed to each other. Pushed together they are a 52 in by 61 in bed with arms and a back on three sides. Pulled apart, the back section is a sofa and the front one is an ottoman deep enough to sit on.

Two sections, not one frame
The front platform slides away from the back section. What is left is a sofa with arms and a back, and an ottoman in front of it that is 58.5 in long and 23.5 in deep. Push it back and it is a bed again by bedtime.
