Metal hinges join the two halves into a 38 inch tower. Unbolt them and you have a pair of low units for either side of a bed.
Stacked, it measures 23.5 inches wide, 12 inches deep and 38 inches high. Three open cubes hold what you reach for, two cabinets with doors hide the rest, and four metal legs raise the base 4.5 inches off the floor.
Open where it helps, closed where it counts
Each cabinet is 11 inches square and 21.5 inches tall behind a full height door. The open cubes measure 11 by 11 by 9.5 inches, which suits paperbacks, folded linen or a small speaker.
The shelf has three settings
Inside the open column, the shelf moves between three positions. Set it low for tall files and high for paperbacks, and change your mind later without tools.
Steady on metal legs
