A plain rectangular bed in dark fir, sized to sit along a deck edge or a fence line without taking the whole garden.
Thick fir boards run in three courses to a side, darkened right through and left with the grain showing. The opening is 44 inches by 21.5 inches, and the bed has no floor, so it goes straight onto soil or grass.
