10 Piece Patio Dining Set, 15 FT Double-Sided Brown Umbrella, 71 Inch Acacia Topped Table and 8 Stackable Rattan Armchairs

Two canopies on one centre pole, opening 15 ft tip to tip in a warm brown, over a 71 in table with an acacia slat top. Eight stackable armchairs in mix brown PE rattan sit under it on beige sponge filled cushions. The base is a 36.5 in square tray that carries 180 lb of sand once both bags are filled.

Round shade over a table that is not round

The end seats miss out

A single canopy throws a circle. A table 71 in long is nothing like a circle, so by mid afternoon the two end chairs are in full sun. People shuffle plates towards the middle instead of sitting where they were put.

Shade the shape of the table

This frame carries a canopy on each side of the pole and opens to 15 ft overall by 9 ft deep. That is longer than the table and wider than it, so all eight places stay covered from one pole.

Brown sits nearest the acacia tabletop of the four canopy colours, which keeps the whole thing reading as one piece of furniture.

Lunch, under the whole canopy

The set laid up on an outdoor rug beside water. You can see the canopy running past both ends of the table, which is the point of a 15 ft span over a 71 in top. The pole sits through the table rather than beside it, so nobody loses a knee to a stand.

How eight people actually sit

Umbrella out, seating plan clear. Three chairs down each long side, one at each end. Dining guides count 24 in to 27 in of table edge per everyday place setting, and three across 71 in works out near 24 in each. Six of the chairs push in under the top when the table is not in use.

What the weave is doing

The manufacturer's own panel names the weave mix brown PE rattan and calls it breathable, fade resistant, sun protective and hand woven. Those are their words. What you can see is a tight, even wrap over the frame with no loose ends at the corners.

The umbrella on its own

Eight feet tall on a 36.5 in square base only 6 in deep, so it slides under the table rather than sitting proud of it. Two sandbags drop into the tray and weigh 180 lb between them when full. Sand is bought separately.

What is in the ten pieces

Twin canopy, one pole

15 ft tip to tip, 9 ft deep, 8 ft tall. Long shade for a long table, without a second stand on the deck.

Crank up, crank down

A hand crank raises both halves at once, and a fixation strap keeps the canopy tidy when it is closed.

12 rib iron structure

The maker's detail panel lists 12 iron ribs, a metal stopper and double stitching where the ribs meet the fabric.

Acacia where it shows

Slatted acacia tabletop and acacia armrests, described by the maker as burr free, over PE rattan and metal.

Cushions that come off

Each seat cushion is 18 in by 19 in and 2.3 in thick with a zipped cover, so washing does not mean scrubbing in place.

Eight chairs that stack

Stacking turns eight separate carries into one when the deck has to be cleared or the season ends.

Drilled at 1.96 in

The table hole is 1.96 in, inside the 1.75 in to 2 in band most patio dining tables use, so the supplied pole seats properly.

Ratings on the drawing

400 lb for each armchair and 180 lb for the tabletop, printed by the manufacturer rather than guessed at.

Who is this perfect for?

Cooks who feed a crowd

Eight cushioned armchairs and a table long enough that the serving dishes do not have to go on the floor.

West facing decks

A canopy that runs the length of the table keeps the low evening sun off the whole row rather than half of it.

Anyone tired of mismatched patio kit

Table, chairs, umbrella and base arrive in one order with the wood tones already matched.

Frequently asked questions

What colour is the canopy really?

The photos on this listing show a warm mid brown, closer to milky coffee than to chocolate. The manufacturer's part code for this version reads CF, their shorthand for coffee, and the colour field on the record lists the entire range rather than the one that ships. Go by the photos.

Do I need to buy an umbrella base?

No. The base comes with the set. It is a 36.5 in square tray, 6 in deep, holding two sandbags that weigh 180 lb together when filled. You supply the sand. Play sand or paver sand from any hardware store works, and two standard bags per pocket is the usual fill.

Will the chairs tuck under the table?

Six of them will. The armchairs are 35 in tall overall with 26 in backrests, and the tabletop sits at 29 in, so the backs clear the edge. The two end chairs stay out. All eight stack when you want the deck properly clear.

How much patio does this need?

The table alone is just under 6 ft by 3 ft. Outdoor layout guides ask for 24 in to 30 in behind each chair to push back, and 36 in where someone walks behind a seated guest. For an eight seat set that works out around 12 ft by 14 ft of usable surface.
