Laid up beside the water

On a rug by the pool you can see how far the shade reaches past the ends of the table. That is the difference a twin canopy makes over a single round one. The pole passes through the table centre rather than standing off to one side.

Colour against a pale house

Beside white siding the orange reads as a deliberate choice rather than an accident. Both canopy halves fold along the single pole, which keeps the set usable when one long side is against a wall or a fence.

The frame under the fabric

From below you can see the ribs running out to each corner of both halves and the crown where the two canopies meet. The crank sits on the pole at standing height, so raising 15 ft of fabric is one handle rather than two people.

What holds the umbrella down?
