Upright it is 27.5 in deep and 35 in tall. Flat it is 43.5 in deep and 14 in tall. With the ottoman pulled out the whole thing runs between 49.5 in and 65.5 in, which is the number to measure your deck against.

And where the ottoman goes

It tucks under the front of the seat when it is not needed, and it has a compartment inside for its own cushion. Both pieces are rated 800 lb by the maker, so it works as a second seat as well as a footrest.

At 180 degrees the backrest and seat make one continuous cushioned surface, and the ottoman extends it. The maker calls the filling high density sponge and fits fixing buckles to hold the cushions in place.

Does the backrest stop anywhere in between?

Can two people sit on it?
